What is Agroecology-TRANSECT?

Agroecology-TRANSECT is a pan-European EU co-funded research project. TRANSECT stands for Trans-disciplinary approaches for Systemic economic, Ecological and Climate change Transitions. This project is dedicated to agroecology and involves 11 Innovation Hubs and 19 partners in 12 countries.

Our goal is to lay the groundwork for agroecology as the future of farming. This includes supporting the scaling out of agroecology by identifying the different types of agroecological initiatives that exist across Europe, and what conditions favour their development.

This dashboard presents the results of the survey of agroecological initiatives in Europe. The aim of the survey was to capture the diversity of European agroecological initiatives and to identify the conditions that favour or, on the contrary, hinder their development and multiplication.
